Age of Apostasy

This is truly an "Age of Apostasy".  This is an age characterized by a falling away from the truth, a time during which Baptists are experiencing a falling away from the great doctrines of the Christian faith.  It is also a time in which so many so-called "Fundamentalists" have been falling away from the great old-time Fundamentalist doctrines of Biblical Separation and Christian Militancy.  Yes, it seems that all Christianity is rushing together into a Great Ecumenical Movement as it leads the unwary back to spiritual Egypt, back to that Great Whore, back to the Roman Catholic Church.

Even some Baptists are actually pushing for this "falling away", for this "apostasy" back towards the Pope of Rome.  Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) often leads the way, with drum combos at the front of the churches beating a drum roll back to Rome.

Where will the righteous stand in these days of apostasy?  Where will you stand?  Will you join with the crowd as they pitch their tents "toward Sodom"? (Gen. 13:12)  Will you also turn your back on the great doctrines and hymns of the Christian faith, choosing rather the Great Whore's "soft charismatic", Bill Gaither positivism, or "Christian Rock" seductions?  Will you apostatize like so many other so-called Christians around you?  Or, will you instead choose to be different from the crowd and choose the serious Bible way?

Jesus died for you and wants you to follow Him, not to follow the Great Whore and the Antichrist.  Jesus expects you to "do what is right, not what you feel."  Jesus says that, "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God". (Luke 9:62) The Book of Revelation tells us that Jesus is coming back to Earth.  Look forward to that great day.  Be willing to deny yourself, suffer, or pay whatever price necessary, so that Jesus may say to you when He comes, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant". (Matt. 25:21)  Be a Fundamentalist Baptist "without the camp" with Jesus, "bearing his reproach"! (Heb. 13:13)
